Meet the wag family

WAG is made up entirely of volunteers,  every single one giving their time, skills and heart to help others. We all work side by side, and no one’s role is more important than another’s. Every minute someone gives to WAG is a gift, and it’s that generosity that keeps everything running and makes a real difference to so many people.  Together, our team of volunteers, trustees and coordinators make up the WAG Family,  a community of people who care, support each other and make good things happen every day.

Our Trustees

Annie Davis Founder and Chair

Maria O’Neill Safeguarding Lead

Maria O’Neill Safeguarding Lead

Annie started WAG during the COVID-19 pandemic with one simple goal — to make sure no one was left behind. She still leads with that same heart, keeping WAG focused on kindness, inclusion and genuine community spirit.

Maria was WAG’s very first volunteer and played a huge part in helping to get WAG off the ground. She’s been there since the beginning — supporting, guiding and caring in that quiet but powerful way that makes all the difference. As Safeguarding Lead, Maria ensures everything WAG does is safe, inclusive and grounded in compassion. Her warmth and commitment have shaped WAG into what it is today.

Debbie Jolliffe Treasurer

Maria Morris Grants Coordinator

Debbie has volunteered with WAG for nearly five years and looks after all things finance as our Treasurer. She’s also the driving force behind many of our fundraising events — from planning to pulling it all together on the day. Her organisation and commitment help make sure WAG can keep doing what it does best: supporting our community.

Maria Morris Grants Coordinator

Maria has been with WAG for just over three years and is our Grants Coordinator. She’s the one who applies for all our funding and helps keep our projects running and growing. Maria also volunteers as a befriender and plays a big part in our fundraising — including organising the fantastic line dancing event, which was a huge success.
